Investor Relations Director Opportunity Overview
The Investor Relations Director for Banner Bank directs and oversees the organization's investor relations function. Communicates with shareholders and/or the general financial community to develop and maintain relationships that ultimately reflect positively on the company's stock price. Partner with executive management to enhance the company’s IR strategy and execute and effective investor communication strategy.
As an Investor Relations Directorfor Banner Bank, you will have the opportunity to:
• Lead, develop, and coordinate all planning and content communication for shareholders events including investor conferences, roadshows, earnings conference calls, investor meetings, press releases, the annual proxy statement, and annual and quarterly reports
• Advise executives on communication strategies to ensure best representation of the company within the financial community
• Track peer earnings and news updates and provide summaries for executive management
• Coordinate the planning of the annual meeting of shareholders and other special investor events
• Manage the Investor Relations infrastructure, including maintenance of investor database and other key database and tracking/analysis tools
• Oversee third party IR vendor relationships and budgets
• Oversee relationship with Banner's stock transfer agent and monitor's shareholder activity
• Administer Banner's Insider Trading Policy
Travel: Occasional travel as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field required
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certification preferred
Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Investor Relations and/or Finance/Accounting
Preferred Skills
• Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to interact and engage with investors, analysts, senior executives, and colleagues throughout the company
• Proven ability to create compelling presentation materials to aid in communication of company strategy and business models to investor community
• Possess strong analytical and quantitative skill set and a solid understanding of corporate financial statements
• Possess exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to finance within banking
