Strategic Partner Account Director
About the Job
The Strategic Partner Account Director is responsible and accountable for the overall relationship between Equifax and multiple key strategic partners within the high-growth Workforce Solutions, Employer Services business unit. You are a thought partner for our key strategic accounts, helping develop and execute programs that generate significant tangible value for Equifax and the partner.
Responsibilities:
• You will lead a strategic partner accounts and maximize growth through development and execution of sales and operational strategies
• Lead all revenue generating and client facing activities with the partner (i.e., Partner Account Management, Business Development, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, Contract Management), and act as a liaison to Equifax subject-matter expert
• You will lead the development of both short- and long-term partner development strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration across all Equifax lines of business via engagement with senior leaders within Workforce Solutions and the broader enterprise as necessary
• You will develop and continually refine a yearly account plan focused on driving revenue growth through targeted initiatives, marketing enablement, and operational improvements that lead to relationship expansion.
• You will handle and lead the execution of the account plan to meet or exceed targets (i.e., record contribution, revenue, market share, and relationship) working with the COEs within Workforce Solutions and the broader enterprise
• You will establish and maintain strong relationships at the partner, especially at the senior leadership level, to support the partner account team, explore new opportunities, and ensure retention of business
• Lead joint activities with the partner to drive strategic planning, proactive problem solving and solution development, and issue resolution, working closely with partner’s account team to coordinate joint engagement activities across other functional areas of the partner organization
• You will work with Marketing, Client Deal Team, Pricing and Legal to negotiate business terms and develop and execute new partnership agreements with the strategic partner account
• You will work with leaders within the Alliances Team to identify gaps with existing processes, systems, and tools to support partner account management activities, and work to develop enhancements and/or new solutions
• You will help to develop premier process and tools to support partner management activities such as joint business planning and performance management
• You will work with COEs to improve existing operational processes and technologies (e.g., partner client implementation and onboarding)
• Provide input to senior leaders across Equifax in developing partnering strategies which are tightly connected to overall, evolving market strategies
• You will support leaders in assessing the portfolio of existing Employer Services partnerships and their performance to-date, and figuring out where Equifax needs to adjust approaches, exit or initiate new partnerships, and/or invest in specific capabilities to improve the value these relationships bring to the company
• You will support efforts to ensure optimal allocation of resources across the existing portfolio of partnerships, with a specific focus on the needs of the account
• You will share competitive intelligence from the accounts that could impact broader strategies or the partner portfolio
• You will drive business results, especially Work Number and Verification Exchange record contribution. Expand resale efforts of additional Equifax services by the strategic partner(s).
Requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
• 7-10 years account management experience in a client facing role (alliance / channel experience preferred)
• Shown experience developing, managing, and growing strategic partner/client relationships
• Successful track record in meeting and/or exceeding financial goals
• Have a strong financial and business insight including knowledge of and/or direct P&L experience
• Ability to handle a portfolio of partners and partner solutions
• Ability to negotiate and build consensus where appropriate with internal groups and external clients and/or strategic partners
• Excellent skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with C-level executives both verbal and written
• Knowledge and/or experience with business process outsourcing, information technology, software or consulting
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and define and execute goals and objectives within evolving strategic context
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Well-developed leadership skills
