Job Function / Summary:
Under general direction, this position serves as the technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas to analyze work process design and flow, ensure data integrity, test system changes, write reports and improve processes to leverage the return on technological capabilities. This position also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Oversee day-to-day integrations and interdependent Workday processes to ensure data integrity among the functional areas as well as the continued validation of existing integrations
• Manage the system configuration, security administration, data audits and corrections, systems updates, and overall functionality of assigned functional areas
• Facilitate discussions to understand business and information needs of business partners/end-users and make recommendations about how the system can best meet those needs
• Provide production support, including researching and resolving system issues such as error messages, login difficulties, access denials, data issues and process failures in Workday.
• Collaborate with other administrators/analysts as needed to recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements with consideration of critical business process dependencies (ex. position management, organizational data, and analytics).
• Manage the Production Tenant and Sandbox environments with proper procedures and control as required
• Perform QA testing in lower life cycle instances of Workday
• Assist with end-user testing and quality assurance; determine test data requirements and analyze, create and manage test data
• Create and maintain test libraries, ensuring the ongoing continued quality of test conditions, scripts and artifacts
• Maintain data integrity in systems by regularly performing data audits and validation, and following up with appropriate personnel for corrections.
• Ensure that integrations of data into and out of Workday are within established deadlines.
• Generate reports for assigned functional areas utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
• Act as an internal consultant regarding system capabilities and represent Workday functional areas in design and modification efforts for continual system alignment with business objectives
• Manage projects/process improvement for assigned functional areas, including application of company change management guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Workday Community and User Groups to resolve issues found within Workday and proactively remain informed about Workday enhancements
• Assist in developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
• Document procedures of job for internal control purposes.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary for the position.
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years related experience and/or training
• 2+ years of direct Workday experience, including configuring business processes, security policies, routing, and condition rules; creating and maintaining reports; and providing customer support to managers and employees
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Strong understanding of HRIS and Payroll processes and data
• Ability to work effectively with business partners within HR as well as other areas of the organization, to include IT and Finance.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving and team oriented environment
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
• Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
• Self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
• Capable of formal applied test management practices to validate data use in all life cycles to ensure zero production defects
• Ability to manage change effectively, always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
• Ability to identify and tackle problems proactively; research and present multiple solutions
Preferred:
• 7+ years related experience and/or training
• 3+ years of direct Workday experience
• Past experience as a Workday Consultant
• Prior experience in Human Resources in financial services sector
ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
