Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking a Risk Analytics Senior to analyze collateral data and the appraisal process to help improve the property valuation process.
Your work falls into two primary categories:
Analysis and Modeling:
•Identify/analyze trends in appraisal data to improve appraisal process
•Support monitoring of appraisal and appraiser quality
•Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
•Have experience cleansing, manipulating and analyzing large datasets using statistical software
Stakeholder Management:
•Create material for dissemination to both internal Freddie Mac stakeholders and to the broader valuation industry
•Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectives
•Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
•Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Qualifications
•BA Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or
•Typically 5-7 years related experience
•Typically 4+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills that may include SQL, SAS, Python and/ or R.
•Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
•Solid communications skills – verbal and written
•Detail oriented and excellent organization skills

•Exceptional quantitative and empirical analysis skills
•Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily-understood terms
