Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking a Risk Analytics Senior to implements tools and methods of risk evaluation as a member of the Credit Analytics and Reporting team.
Responsibilities include
Risk Analytics:
•Responsible for managing credit risk exposure derived from banking and financial services activities
•Establishing polices and developing systems to control and monitor assets in terms of credit risk
•Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
•Have experience cleansing, manipulating and analyzing large datasets using statistical software
Operations:
•Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectives
•Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
•Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Qualifications
•Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field with 5-7 years related experience
•4+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills
•Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
•5+ years of SQL programming experience
•5+ years of SAS programming experience

•Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily-understood terms
