The Vice President of Client Account Managementis responsible for a team of client account managers who serve as the primary business contact for strategic clients and who are responsible for building, solidifying and enhancing their client relationships to ensure maximum profitability and growth. The Vice President of Client Account Manager is accountable for the retention and performance of the top 100 client relationships as well as defining an engagement strategy for all other clients within our client portfolio, based on current client needs as defined by performance, retention, client services dispositions and other trends determined through analytical means. Additionally, this role is expected to identify opportunities for improvement as well as to communicate and advocate client needs and goals within the portfolio to ensure they are met and properly addressed. This role is responsible for maintaining and building account profitability through direct deposit goal attainment, new product sales, and contract renewals. The Vice President of Client Account Management must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate, collaborate, and justify key objectives at all levels of management within the organization. The preferred location for this position is Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate existing and define future client account management and engagement structure to ensure effective and dedicated account management for top 100 clients within current team structure
• Work closely with Client Implementation team to define proper client onboarding process for large clients
• Accountable for performance, profitability, satisfaction and retention of clients from implementation handoff through end of partnership life
• Design effective and efficient client engagement strategy to promote strong client relationships and drive skylight product awareness/usage
• Support your Account Managers by attending bi-annual client business reviews, sales conferences, and client engagement events
• Work closely with Client Services and Customer Services to compile customer and client feedback, define process improvements, and drive implementation of improvement initiatives
• Define and execute upon team strategy to introduce new solutions, ancillary products, or current product feature changes or enhancements
• Responsible for the personal and professional development of client account managers on the account management team
• Accountable for contract renewals and new product sales
• Be the client escalation point and ensure resolution of any team or client issues
• Set, track, and report upon managed and unmanaged client performance including revenue attainments, retention, and product and account management satisfaction
Skills/Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience in management and/or account management with Fortune 500 accounts
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships at C-level and Middle Management
• Strong management, organizational and forecasting skills
• Track record of revenue generation and relationship management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50%
