Job Description:
At Regions, the Marketing Content Strategist manages and/or leads a team that manages content strategy, development, execution and optimization across multiple audience segments and delivery channels that attracts, engages, builds trust, preferences and loyalty for customers, associates, and prospects.
Primary Responsibilities
• May lead a team of Marketing Content Strategists that develop programs to support Business Units and/or products across multiple channels
• Develops channel strategies for Traditional Media, Digital/Social, Email, Mail, including one-to-one Personalization
• Ensures clear and consistent messaging across channels, and looks for opportunities for efficiencies with more customer-centric messaging
• Develops and/or leads team that develops content and communications to support marketing programs for use in Television, Online Video, Terrestrial Radio, Digital Radio, Social Media, Digital media, Email, Mail, Print, Regions.com, Collateral, In-branch point-of-sale
• Understands the audience segments and purchase funnel
• Understands performance measurement, analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensures content development and optimization at high-speed pace, based on performance measurement
• Serves as a vendor management and service level owner for Merkle, Luckie, Sapient Razorfish, Meredith, Imagination, GoLocal, Publicis Hawkeye, Transunion, Mintel, Miller Zell, Toof, Aprimo, Reflex Blu, and others
• Oversees and accountable for multi-million-dollar budget
• Oversees the team following Marketing Process
• Understands Canned Spam Act, UDAAP, and multiple regulations, and developing programs and content that align with these policies and regulations
• Serves as partner to Marketing Strategists, Analytics and Campaign Operations
• Works with Finance, Digital Banking, Legal and Compliance.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
• Nine (9) years experience in Marketing
Preferences
• Nine (9) years experience in Digital or Content Marketing
