To support our goals as an industry leader, we are seeking a Junior Workflow Analyst to join our dynamic Legal Collections team in our Troy, MI office. The Junior Workflow Analyst is responsible for assisting internal and external clients in managing workflow in our Cogent System Platform. Projects include but are not limited to research, recommending solutions, authoring processes in our Cogent workflow platform, documenting procedures, and managing aspects of project management.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Workflow and documents in Cogent and Apollo
• Collaborate with all Legal Collections Operations Excellence (LCOE) team members to define and design solutions to improve operations processes
• Monitor processes to ensure the proper handling of workflows
• Participate in projects and provide regular updates on process integrity and performance to internal and external partners
• Adhere to complex process requirements and directions
• Identify process/system shortfalls and create solutions for system enhancement
• Challenge existing processes to increase efficiency, decrease cost, and facilitate communication between departments
• Create, develop, and implement new strategies with Call Center leaders
• Manage relationships across the organization to ensure that current processes and procedures are implemented as defined
Required Qualifications
• Experience in a process management role in a financial, legal, or collections setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio creating workflows/process flows
Preferred Qualifications
• Programming experience: HTML, Java, SAS, Salesforce, etc.
• Some DBA activities: knowledge of: SQL and Excel or MS Access
• Call center or collections experience
• Legal process experience
• Project management experience
• Business analysis skills
• System query skills
Education
• Associates degree in IT or Business Administration
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
