About our Business:
DNA from Fiserv offers financial services organizations account processing platforms to streamline operations, quickly adapt to changing business needs and manage relationships in real-time and through all channels. The DNA Data Team provides the essential functions of converting client’s data from their existing systems to DNA for core account processing system conversions and mergers, as well as offering extensive professional services.
What does a great Business Systems Analyst, Advisory do?
This position, within the DNA Development team, will help establish and work with business analyst standards, assist with the software development process by defining and documenting software requirements and reviewing and testing the developed software to ensure that it functions correctly, meets our software development standards, and fulfills the previously agreed to requirements.
• You will work with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Client Care, and Compliance, as well as clients, to clearly define and document their requests.
• Assists with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software developed team.
• Determines how to best implement the requested changes / customization. This may include working with Development staff, Product Managers, QA staff and / or other Business Analysts.
• Creates business requirements documentation / programming specifications with sufficient detail to enable application developers to complete the programming request.
• Ensures that the final user documentation effectively conveys the information the client needs.
• Tests / validates developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• 10+ years of business experience within the Banking and / or Credit Union industries. Familiarity with the Fiserv / Open Solutions DNA core banking system preferred but not mandatory.
• Majority number of years with extensive Commercial Lending and Commercial account management required.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills since this position requires extensive communication between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must have familiarity with software testing and validation methods.
• Must have familiarity with software problem research methods.
• Must be self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong planning skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must be an innovative thinker, as many of the programming requests are for new capabilities.
• Experience with SQL, Axure, and TFS is preferred.
• Experience with Agile development preferred.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Travel required: 20%-30%
