What You Need To Know
• Reconcile payroll tax reporting after each pay run.
• Process filing of tax payments to Federal, State, Local and City agencies.
• Prepare all quarterly/annual tax filings including W-2s.
• Reconcile payroll taxes to the general ledger and book journal entries.
• Research and reconciliation of payroll taxes from prior periods.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Special projects and research.
• Process multiple state payroll(s).
• Gather and report requested date to internal and external recipients.
What We Are Looking For
• 3+ years of payroll processing with at least 2 years tax experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates integrity, strong character, and a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
Even Better
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Experience with Ultipro a plus
