The Payroll Analyst is responsible for providing research and analysis support to Payroll Operations. The Payroll Analyst will support all aspects of enterprise payroll(s) administration as well as interface with other functional areas (i.e. health and welfare, 401k, etc.). Supports Payroll Operations and third party administrators to help ensure payroll procedures are in compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform research and analysis, and be able to extract and interpret data from various sources; provide recommendations to management.
Provide support in funding reconciliations, payroll audits, quarterly processing and regulatory reporting as needed.
Works with payroll outsource partner (ULTIPRO) and internal/external partners in the resolution of payroll problems/errors.
Enhance ability to utilize the BI Reporting system in Ultipro by enrolling in on-line classes offered by Ultipro.
Create, Analyze, Modify, and Audit excel spreadsheets by combining data from multiple sources and reporting systems.
Process Multi-state bi-weekly payroll
Provide relative bi-weekly payroll and GL reports to accounting timely.
Assist the Payroll Team wherever needed.
Ability to understand and use various IRS tax publications to help Payroll Operations assure on-going compliance.
