The Team
This team provides day-to-day support to the Arity organization. This work is both strategic and operational in nature, and is done in collaboration and consultation with its partners across the Arity organization.
The Role
This role will report to the Arity People Manager and will work closely with the Arity Finance and Culture teams, as well as the Allstate HR department. This work includes contributing to the development and the implementation and monitoring of a variety of programs/initiatives within Arity. The Sr People Partner will also contribute to the development of new strategies and programs. Examples of this work would include executing strategy to help recruitment and onboard talent to Arity, as well as Arity staff development opportunities. In addition, the consultant will maintain and improve existing reporting.
Responsibilities
•Plans, manages, and/or contributes to projects of medium- complexity, within a team or across teams within Arity, and assists where appropriate with efforts of higher complexity.
•Manages medium complexity projects according to plan; measures, monitors, and reports progress at defined points to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and meet or exceed quality expectations.
•Tracks and documents completion of work plan activities, adhering and aligning to prescribed standards for status reporting and resource procurement for projects of medium-complexity.
•Forecasts short and long-term project deliverables.
•Documents and tracks resolution of project issues, risks, and change requests; resolves and escalates issues, risks, and change requests as appropriate.
•Develops positive relationships and shares information with project members and interfacing teams.
•Builds relationships with sponsors / stakeholders through effective management of communications.
•Contributes to goals and objectives for and provide feedback to project team members.
•Participate in the design and execution of Arity’s talent management processes/phases (e.g., recruitment, performance management, succession management, career development, competencies)
•Ensure the organization is supported through talent management changes by contributing to a strategic communications and training plan to implement talent management processes/phases
•Develops and uses reporting and metrics to ensure that integrated talent management practices are understood, communicated and supported and participate in the delivery of said integrated talent management initiatives
•Analyze data and contribute to the development of specific action plans
•Contribute to solution development approach, tools, and techniques that best achieve Arity’s goals.
•Provide consultation and input into the implementation of the development of organizational effectiveness processes, services, and solutions that support the strategic direction and have a long term impact on achieving business goals
•Contribute to employee communication strategies, key messaging, stakeholder audiences and work with team-members throughout Arity to help ensure effective information flow is taking place
•Ensures that Corporate HR and Procurement priorities are communicated effectively to Arity employees.
•Works with Business Operations and Finance team to develop and implement strategies for capacity management across domestic, off shore and contractor workforce
•Evaluates communication effectiveness and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
•3+ years experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility with a successful track record of effectively solving business challenges
•Intermediate Internal Consulting - Develops collaborative consulting relationship that maximize the achievement of the business outcomes, client commitment and long term sustainability
•Communication & Collaboration - Works effectively across boundaries to promote two-way communication and has intermediate communication skills - written & verbal. Advanced presentation skills
•Strategic thinking - ability to “connect the dots”
•Intermediate process design skills
•Intermediate project management skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Project. )
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel: vlookups, pivot tables, charts and graphs. Ability to combine multiple data sources into dashboards and metrics
•Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational psychology, or related business degree
