This role will include both recruiting support/administrative functions as well as partnering with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist in full-cycle recruiting efforts for open positions within the California Region (approximately 40 offices). Seeking that outstanding person to provide the ultimate customer service experience for our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
• Partners with hiring managers on the recruiting and selection process
• Opens/posts positions in the HRIS/ATS system (Workday)
• Sources qualified candidates for assigned offices
• Conducts phone screens/interviews to assess overall fit
• Collaborates with managers on offers of employment and advises on best practices
• Extends offer letters to selected candidates
• Initiates onboarding of new hires including new hire orientation (via conference calls)
• Participates in local career fairs and college recruiting events
Administrative Support Functions:
• Schedules all on-site interview with managers
• Maintains/updates Recruiting Log with current position and candidate status
• Prepares monthly email blast to new hires introducing them to the Employee Referral program
• Follow-up on all pending background checks
• Processes expense reports for the HR team
• Other HR-related projects
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You are perfect for this opportunity if you . . .
• hold a Bachelor's Degree
• have at least 3+ years of related recruiting experience (financial services/insurance industry preferred)
• have the confidence and professional demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
• have demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
• possess a high level of initiative and have the ability to work autonomously
• have a keen eye for detail and organization
• possess computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and HRIS/ATS)
