Job responsibilities will include:
• Perform daily reconciliation processes between GCM’s trading systems and treasury systems to ensure proper reflection of GCM’s trading positions and trade receivables and payables.
• Correctly recording and reconciling general operating expenses and accruals on a monthly basis and ensuring that these expenses are appropriately reflected in the appropriate legal entities, segments and cost centers.
• Assist with functional and segment reporting requirements, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting the relationship with the AIG Inc. corporate accounts payable team.
• Assist when necessary, with the resolution of AP-related issues.
What we are looking for:
• 2+ years of translatable prior work experience.
• BA (or equivalent), Finance or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting. Public or private financial accounting experience is a plus along with recording and reconciling accruals.
• Experience with Accounts Payable a plus.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle and SAP a plus.
