Job Description
OVERVIEW
To review newly closed loans for financial compliance, prepare financial documentation files for audits conducted by internal auditors and government regulators and prepare files for annual review.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages filing of all financial documents and property inspections for CRE and C&I loans.
• Reviews the loan documents of newly formed CRE and C&I loans (within threshold) for financial compliance. Ensures the completeness of the loan files, in accordance with closing requirements and documents exceptions as needed.
• Creates financial auditing files for newly formed loans and inputs financial information into the Credit Administration Database.
• Communicates with borrowers, loan officers, and analysts in an effort to collect required financial documents and update the database.
• Prepares request letters (amount can range from 100-2,500) for mailing. Researches and resolves issues with returned mail including investigating borrower's alternate address, inputting alternate address into Credit Administration Database and preparing the request for re-mailing.
Requirements
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2 years of commercial loan or other related experience, including an understanding of typical CRE and/or C&I loan documents.
• Demonstrated ability to understand loan documents and resolve complex issues.
• Capacity to handle a high volume of work with little direction.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
