Description
Huntington is seeking a Treasury Liquidity Specialist to support the Liquidity and Capital function within Corporate Treasury. The qualified individual will provide analytical support to Management within the Capital and Liquidity team.
A Treasury Liquidity Specialist:
• Is responsible for managing Huntington's Contingency Funding Plan (CFP) including liquidity stress testing assumption updates, coordinating table-top testing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation as well as sections of the Asset Liability Policy (ALCO Policy) related to liquidity management;
• Serves as a primary contact during regulatory and internal reviews of Huntington's liquidity management practices and stress testing and reporting processes;
• Ensures that Huntington's planning and forecasting is consistent with its board-approved ALCO policy and risk appetite;
• Reviews, develops, and continually strengthens the analysis and forecasting of the liquidity position and liquidity adequacy of the Corporation and its principal subsidiary, Huntington National Bank;
• Coordinates across multiple departments to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for the FR 2052a and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR);
• Maintains and enhances Huntington's Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodology and enhances the reporting and governance structure over the methodology;
• Assists management in maintaining the Capital Policy and Capital Contingency Plan as well as planning bank-level capital actions and optimization; and,
• Regularly participates in meetings with senior management, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of financial analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree, CFA, CTP, or other professional designation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex material concisely to senior management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Word required. Working knowledge SQL and SAS preferred.
• Exposure to QRM preferred.
