What does a great Client Portfolio Growth Advisor (CPG Advisor) do?
The CPG Advisor will work with Card Services clients to develop and execute a strategy to drive growth in their card and Product portfolios. A primary focus of the CPG Advisor will be to analyze client data in order to recommend a targeted plan to increase cardholder activation & usage and product adoption for assigned financial institutions.
As a key business unit, Card Services provides solutions to our clients and their customers that assist them in delivering enhanced revenue streams, reduced operating expenses and increasing cardholder engagement to improve their overall profitability.
• Monitor, understand, and communicate trends in the market and consumer behaviors that directly impact how our products are leveraged and adopted in the marketplace.
• Establish a deep relationship with assigned clients in order to form a collaborative partnership
• Develop and execute an ongoing growth strategy to increase card activation and usage
• Develop recommendation and strategies to increase product adoption
• Create benchmarks of current portfolio performance to track against
• Develop ROI’s to highlight the client value associated with the growth strategy
• Partner with Product Managers to be Voice of the Customer (VOC)
• Participate in client planning sessions
• Facilitate quarterly client reviews (minimum), including a year-end review of campaign results and performance against benchmarks
• Adjust strategy when expected results or ROI are not being met
• Present summary of quarterly & year-end results for assigned clients to Card Services leadership
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
• Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or a related field desirable; will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the debit payments processing industry including data analytics, marketing, market strategy, or in a related function required.
Travel:
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
• Strong understanding of Fiserv products preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of card payment services and related products, as well as the overall card industry, including competition and financial institutions.
• Knowledge of broader electronic payments industry and solutions.
• Highly collaborative work style with the ability to positively negotiate, influence others and maintain effective business relationships.
• Previous experience in a highly consultative, solution-oriented environment.
• Excellent professional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis, compile metrics and articulate results to relevant audience.
• Able to demonstrate leadership skills and live the Fiserv values.
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize issues plus work independently with minimal supervision/direction with a strong sense of accountability of self and others.
• Results oriented with the desire and ability to push through obstacles in order to achieve goals.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to effectively interact with different sized clients along with all levels of client and Fiserv staff.
