Description
Position Goals:
Manages outside sales team for market penetration through campaigns that deliver incremental revenue from new and/or existing clients. Defines and communicates the sales process and the sales effectiveness drivers. Leads and fosters co-operation and collaboration with other functions within the business to maximize efficiency to provide an integrated response to clients' needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement and manage departmental goals and objectives in support of a defined marketing strategy for Merchant Services team.
2. Develop and manage a sales plan to promote and sell Merchant Services products and services through a blend of personal prospecting as well as partnering to develop internal and external referrals.
3. Manage the sales process, by reviewing and analyzing statements for pricing proposals, request for services and the creation of sales materials for clients and prospects.
4. Develop and manage a team of diverse Merchant Services Sales Officers. Provide direction and assistance with issue resolution of complex customer issues and technical assistance for staff and customers.
5. Work collaboratively with sales and support channels to ensure a positive client on-boarding and activation experience through the delivery of unparalleled service and an amazing customer experience during the business development process.
6. Actively partner with, train and educate partner lines of business on Merchant Services products and services.
7. Ensure annual reviews are conducted with clients to ensure proper pricing and identify cross-selling opportunities for your individual and the team’s portfolios.
8. Research competitor’s products; analyze strategies to recommend advantageous marketing position.
9. Remain current on product, industry and technical knowledge; all while staying up to date with regulatory changes.
10. Prepare sales and activity reports on a regular basis.
11. Lead or participate on special projects as required.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education - High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience - Over three (3) through five (5) years of Merchant Processing sales or related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field.
