The Escrow Operations Manager (EOM) focuses on establishing, streamlining, and managing processes, procedures and programs related to an escrow department/branch/group. In addition, this role will participate in identifying strategic objectives and developing goals to achieve those objectives. Branch Managers and Escrow staff for our Eugene branch will report to the EOM. EOM helps setting metrics; tracks and monitors trends in order to achieve objectives. Provides expertise and recommendations to management to improve and streamline processes. The escrow department acts a third party between buyers and sellers or borrowers and lenders in closing real estate transactions.
Essential Functions
• Works closely with management to plan for future branches and business opportunities, which includes location, personnel and design
• Works closely with sales manager and the sales team for a cohesive marketing strategy involving the escrow department
• Works closely with other departments regarding processes and such that affect more than one department. Represents escrow’s involvement with changes to processes
• Training, both the managers and staff with regards to escrow issues and process issues such as those put forth by corporate initiatives.
• Supervises Branch Managers and Branch Escrow staff. Monitors performance and implements any needed performance measures.
• Manages coverage schedule and monitors and approves time-off requests.
• Identifies issues, researches solutions, and resolves operational issues
• Represents the regional escrow department’s interests on various committees, calls and initiatives
• May calculate and enter bonus/incentives for all eligible personnel
• May track, review and monitor branch P&L and other financial documents/reports

Typical Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typical Range of Experience
• 5-8 years of escrow and/or operations experience
• Previous experience as an escrow officer preferred
License or Certification
• LPO license preferable (Washington)
