Currently, CLA is seeking financial Consultants at the Accountant level to join our growing practice. Our clients range from pre-revenue venture backed start-ups and Fortune 1000 companies as well as a variety of nonprofit and mission driven organizations. We support clients in diverse industries, including healthcare, community services, technology and manufacturing
Responsibilities:
The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.
Transaction Processing. Accounts Payable / Cash Disbursements Processing, accounts receivable / cash receipts processing, and payroll processing or coordination.
Account Reconciliations. Complete non-complex account reconciliations to be reviewed by the Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller, or CFO.
Prepare Non-Complex Financial Statements. Complete non-complex financial statements to be reviewed by Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller, or CFO.
Technical Competencies: Strong proficiency with MS Office products and accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree), Great Plains Dynamic, Netsuite and Intacct. Accounting software specific to the nonprofit industry would include Blackbaud products (Financial Edge, Raiser’s Edge, Fundware), Abila (formerly Sage) MIP.
Experience: 3+ years of experience providing accounting and financial services is required.
Education: Associates degree required. Equivalent work experience may be considered as a degree equivalent.
Prior Consulting experience desired
