Overview
Responsible for operationalizing product development within the Product and Pricing Strategy Group (PPSG) which develops and manages PennyMac’s product portfolio. Primary duties include establishing new processes and developing enterprise-wide tools to evaluate current state product-related initiatives as well as enable high-level product strategy decisions. Will lead the cross-functional product development organization and ensure effective administration and coordination for the timely release of new product introductions as well as changes to existing products and programs offered to meet market demands and overall strategic product development goals. Participates with department leadership in analyses for product comparisons and pricing strategies across product lines.
Job Description
• Proactively interfaces across departments and/or divisions to develop and manage complex projects or programs including defining project scope, objectives, processes, methodologies, schedules, budgets, high-level deliverables, and business results.
• Collaborate with all key stakeholders across the enterprise to continually monitor project performance and guide project activities to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, implementing corrective solutions and improvements as needed and appropriate
• Thoughtfully define and communicate project goals, requirements, and constraints
• Measure key performance results and deliver effective presentations to executive management
• Manage the product development process from conception through design, planning, execution, release
• Be a partner to front-line leaders and employees as processes are redefined
• Escalate critical issues or misalignments that may jeopardize product development timelines or success to executive management
• Suggest and lead changes in the organization to advance the company's product strategy
• Leads efforts to leverage technology resources to increase efficiency, contain costs, and improve business unit results
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
• Financial Services and/or mortgage industry experience
• Self-driven, with strong innovation and change orientation
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills, prioritization of resources across multiple projects
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize independently
• Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Proficient in Excel and Word
