JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
Provides support to the Hancock Whitney Investment Services (HWIS) Sales Director to assist with achieving established targets in sales, recruiting, revenue growth, and profitability in accordance with HWIS strategic objectives. Responsible for managing systems and data directly used by client facing associates and business partners to ensure both are accurate and up to date at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answers incoming calls from sales management and product providers to assist with account assignments, product management, and updates on new and existing product offerings.
• Assists HWIS Sales Director with coordinating internal trainings such as product knowledge, system updates and annual compliance training for client facing associates and new hires.
• Apprises all licensed associates about changes to product offerings such as rate changes, policy changes, contest results and product solutions as well as YTD standings for annual contests such as President’s Circle.
• Manages and updates approved product list in all account management systems including annuity net and M&O.
• Works with compliance on product management and audit requests as necessary
• Manages Advisor assignments to Financial Centers and customer accounts in our account management (M&O) system through data feeds. Responsible for keeping the system up to date and notifying both internal and external partners of any changes.
• Assists in preparing product management and due diligence committee presentations
• Assists Financial Operations with reports needed for incentive purposes. Responsible for pulling reports from Sales Force and compiling information provided from advisors to send to Financial Operations.
• Oversees usage and reporting capabilities in Salesforce. Responsible for adding and removing access as instructed by HWIS Sales Director.
• Assists in reviewing data and providing reports to HWIS Sales Director to assist with analyzing performance.
• Coordinates onboarding of new HWIS associates including registration and training
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years’ experience in Financial Services or combination of related experience and training
• Prior experience in insurance or investments preferred
• Series 7, 65 or 63/66, and Life and Health licenses
• Experience working with Excel, Word, and Salesforce preferred.
• Basic understanding of the banking industry
• Advanced understanding of the insurance and/ or investment industry
• Advanced understanding of products and services offered by the investment industry
• Advanced understanding of Federal Investment Regulations
• Advanced understanding of office operations of investment firms
• Basic understanding of long-range planning and budgeting
• Strong communications skills (both orally and in writing)
• Ability to analyze data.
• High level of commitment to service and teamwork.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
