The Role
This position provides strategic leadership to achieve key business objectives. S/he will lead and oversee the strategic development, maintenance and execution of a robust client relationship management program which ensure that the clients’ overall service needs are satisfied and achieve the business and profitability objects of all Distribution.
Non-Negotiables:
• Relationship Management Leader: Understands the techniques required to develop, maintain and manage business relationships with clients and partner organizations. Leverages creative thinking to proactively identify business opportunities in new market places.
• Strategy and Execution; Someone who can develop an overall strategic vision and executes a robust client relationship management and retention strategy by channel. And ideally knows the Financial Services Sales Distribution Channels.
• Executive Leader;Inspire others, transforms organizations, delivers results and committed to accelerating personal, team and organizational growth.Manages team dynamics and improves performance.
Responsibilities
• Builds, enhances and maintains relationships with the most senior contacts at client organizations, ensuring clients overall service needs are satisfied.
• Develops and oversees the overall financial budgets for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Develops highly complex and comprehensive relationship management strategies and programs which have a substantial impact on client satisfaction his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility including anticipating and providing strategies on market trends.
• Drives and oversees Lincoln's cross selling objectives within his/her assigned area(s) to properly position all of Lincoln's financial solutions.
• Leads and oversees the management of assigned area(s) relationships with existing clients by developing, executing and ensuring proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
• Leads the development of an overall business plan to achieve business and profitability objectives for the enterprise and his/her assigned responsibility
• Provides thought leadership and advises senior management on relationship management strategies which optimize client satisfaction, achieve desired business results and reduce risks.
• Serves as a representative and participates in industry organizations to provide exposure for the business.
Education & Experience
• 12+ Years experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 5+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience (Required)
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in (Minimum Required)
Certifications
• Upon Hire Certifications/Licensures : Licenses dependent upon product being supported with specified time frame.
Travel Information
• Travel Type : National Domestic
• Travel Amount : up to 50%
