The NYLIM Global Marketing Operations Team works to create operating leverage and deliver broader business impact by improving the effectiveness of marketing’s technology platforms, creating end-to-end strategies for event management, developing new value-add programs for clients, and maintaining a consistent, high-quality RFP practice.
The Campaign Management Community Manager will be the primary marketing automation power-user, expert and administrator for New York Life Investments. Their focus will be creating, building, deploying and testing all marketing campaigns, using Eloqua, in order to improve lead generation, lead conversion, and overall marketing funnel optimization. Preferred candidates will have experience with Eloqua and Salesforce. This role is part of our Global Marketing Operations team and will work with other areas to execute a variety of marketing and lead generation campaigns in support of a diverse set of business stakeholders with the goals of 1) helping them to more fully leverage the platform (Eloqua); 2) conforming to best practices as well as Corporate brand strategy; 3) optimizing available resources.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should be entrepreneurial in nature and have strong leadership skills, as this person will be responsible for educating team members and helping to drive organizational change needed to deliver top of funnel results.
Roles and responsibilities of the position include:
• Develop and manage execution of NYL Investments marketing campaigns with full best practices.
• Manage administration and expanded use of the marketing automation platform (Eloqua).
• Ensure successful configuration, implementation and maintenance of all marketing programs within Eloqua.
• Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, HTML presentation, quality assurance, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
• Work with the Content Manager to target content for email nurturing and programs that move leads through the buying process.
• Establish lead scoring methodologies and intelligence programs used to help sales prioritize activities.
• Develop campaign landing pages and conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
• Build and establish process for QA and communications as needed to manage day-to-day work.
• Track and measure marketing campaign ROI, attribution and sales effectiveness.
• Create sales and marketing KPI dashboards and other reports for executive review.
• Work with outside marketing agencies, CRM administrators and internal marketing stakeholders to ensure data is clean, campaigns are executed on time and marketing metrics are reported accurately.
• Ensuring data from all activity is captured and, when possible, integrated with our CRM platform.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution as required.
• Developing appropriate metrics and analyzing and communicating campaign results for Sales and senior management.
• Work with IT and internal platform owners to drive and manage integrations with other systems.
Requirements
• BA/BS required, with 5+ years of related work experience, preferably within financial services.
• Robust knowledge of Oracle Eloqua, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and executing email campaigns.
• Knowledge of SalesForce a plus.
• Experience with list segmentation and good understanding of database concepts and segmentation.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and informally lead cross functional teams.
• HTML proficiency and passion.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate statistical output in a manner that is engaging, understandable, and influential.
• A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
