Description
The Branch Expansion Teammate is responsible for laying the groundwork for the new branch to be successful.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must be a “Keeper of the Woodforest Culture”, and possess the ability to create energy around Retail Branch Evolution.
As subject matter experts, train new team members on all aspects of delivering the Woodforest Experience.
Precisely follow the New Branch Checklist to set up and prepare for branch opening.
Proactively build and manage Retail partner relationships and hand off to new branch team.
Create brand ambassadors through introducing Woodforest products and solutions to potential customers inside and outside the branch.
• Embraces and encourages customer adoption to a technology driven experience.
Achieves BET sales goals by proactively identifying, creating brand ambassadors, by recommending banking products and services beneficial to the customer.
Fearlessly make suggestions on process improvements
• Demonstrate flexibility to perform every other duty as assigned.
Competencies Required
• Must be fearless when seeking business within the store and outside of the branch.
• Inspired, goal oriented, disciplined, team leader with strong interpersonal skills, sales aptitude, and comfortable with outside sales.
• Must possess a teachable spirit that is open to positive, direct coaching and feedback.
• Ability to work flexible or extended working hours to meet business needs; demonstrated reliability.
• Customer experience orientation with effective problem solving abilities, the ability to maintain composure and convey a positive attitude while interacting with customers as well as internal team members. Passionate about taking care of people.
• Knowledge of/or ability to quickly learn banking and lending products, services, policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, as well as engaging in as sales and service process.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, follow directions, and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand instructions, forms, applications, financial statements and credit reports.
Qualifications
• Minimum Qualifications/Experience
◦ 3-5 years combination of banking, relevant college education, and/or supervisory experience in a customer service or sales environment
◦ OR 6 months Woodforest Evolution experience
◦ Must have some prior Woodforest Banking experience.
Formal Education & Certification
◦ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
◦ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Work Status
◦ Full-Time.
◦ One year commitment to the Branch expansion team with renewal opportunity.
Supervisory Responsibility
◦ No.
Travel
◦ 100% travel expected.
Working Conditions
◦ Conditions involve lifting no more than 50 pounds, standing most of the time, and will involve walking, moving, or sitting for brief periods.
