Implements a company-wide Discover Management System (DMS) transformation. Works collaboratively to run the transformation in specific areas, and is responsible for ensuring the transformations success.
Responsibilities
• Coaches leaders on how to leverage the tools to shift the mindsets and behaviors of themselves and their teams to instill a culture of Lean, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Owns the implementation and maturity of tools from the DMS toolkit within the business area and communicates progress to program leadership.
• Supports business leaders in developing specific portions of the diagnostic and design of DMS in their area.
• Develops the skill sets of business leaders per area and their teams in DMS tools (i.e., Lean management tools including but not limited to visual performance management, huddle meetings, problem solving, demand and capacity management, standard work, etc.).
• Coaches newer members of the change team to be effective change agents.
• Contributes as a thought partner to DMS leadership on program-related matters.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, heres what we need from you:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Technical, Quantitative, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Change Management, Continuous Improvement, Process Management, or related field
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Management, Program Management, Strategic Planning, Performance Measurement, Management Consulting, Lean Transformation Leadership or related areas
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, wed also look for:
• Masters Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Lean transformation leadership
• 4+ years of experience in Management Consulting or related field
• Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt, or Green Belt
