Description
Our firm, a growing nationally recognized CPA firm with offices in St. Louis, Denver, Kansas City, Nashville, Chicago and Las Vegas is looking for talented individuals who are interested in outsourced accounting, primarily with Quickbooks.
The Entrepreneurial Services Manager will be well-versed with Quickbooks, detail-oriented, responsive and proficient at multi-tasking. The manager will assist clients with helping grow their business by providing day-to-day transactional services and value added consulting. The ideal candidate will manage multiple clients and teams. Client industry types can include professional services, real estate, not-for-profit, manufacturing and construction.
Major Responsibilities
• High level understanding of general accounting concepts and procedures
• Supervise and review monthly client reporting using Quickbooks accounting system, including, but not limited to:
◦ Bank and credit card reconciliations
◦ Accounts receivable subsidiary ledger
◦ Fixed asset listing
◦ Accounts payable subsidiary ledger
◦ Payroll records
◦ Inventory records, when applicable
• Consult and advise clients on proper QuickBooks set up and best practices
• Consult with clients to develop budgets and financial forecasting
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annually prepared or compiled financial statements
• Identify and communicate accounting matters to other engagement team members
• Establish direct communication and working relationship with clients
• Directly involved with outsourced accounting proposals for prospective clients
Requirements
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online), Pro Advisor status preferred, CPA preferred
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to effectively utilize technology
• Experience with integrating multiple software into Quickbooks, preferred (i.e. Bill.com, etc.)
• Energetic, enthusiastic and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to handle multiple engagements at the same time and address challenging client requirements while providing quality service
• Utilize analytical and research abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strict adherence to professional ethics
