The Internship Experience
Principal will host over 200 interns across various business units and teams. You will meet with senior executives, gain career direction, and contribute to work that helps our customers live their best lives - all at a Fortune 500 company who invests in your personal and professional development.

Responsibilities:
This position will assist our Principal Securities marketing and sales support teams to create and implement training projects related to products, planning services, technology solutions and employee onboarding. There are many components to training, and this internship will focus on the facilitation and design of training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, Brainshark, Camtasia, etc. This role will work directly with subject matter experts and leadership throughout the department providing the opportunity to do meaningful work that brings value to our business, advisors and employees.
Key Tasks:
• Design training materials to create a consistent experience in line with Principal’s brand and our business area’s goals.
• Craft messaging or edit training scripts to reflect Principal’s brand voice and be appropriate for the audience. Ex: new employee, experienced advisor, completely new advisor.
• Develop videos/presentations for on-demand training opportunities
• Assist with promotion and communications of new training resources as they become available
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in communications, educational studies, marketing, graphic design, business or related degree
• 3.0 GPA or above
• Active involvement within extracurricular activities or within the community
• Strong PowerPoint or other presentation tools experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Instructional Design Theory
• Previous internship or work experience in a similar field
