Junior Application Support Specialist
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The candidate will support the Risk Modelling Platform (RMP) - a centralized platform for integrating and consolidating Zurich's risk quantification and reporting processes.
Key Accountabilities
• Providing comprehensive and expanded first and second level help desk support for IT incidents, problems and service requests via the RMP service desk.
• Updating documented procedures and tools (e.g. the RMP wiki) based on incidents and platform enhancements.
• Providing support on RMP maintenance activities (e.g. data archiving, software upgrades, DB maintenance).
• Provides service desk performance / RMP services reporting and analysis to RMP stakeholders.
• Providing consultation, support, and training to RMP Customers (e.g RMP Wiki, Service Desk and Change management tools).
• Provide support to RMP management.

Functional/Technical Capabilities
• Excellent Customer service skills (experience working in customer support role is welcome).
• Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills at different levels and in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a global organization, in a small team, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity.
• Experience in IT / IT educational background (Linux and Windows system administration).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server highly beneficial.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability and willingness to learn.
Minimum salary offered is 1200€ plus other pay elements based on your experience.
