The Team
The VP, Intermediary Business Development will report directly to SVP, Sales and require strong execution skills to win, maintain and expand relationships with assigned intermediary partners to drive Payroll, HR and Benefits Administration leads.
FidelityWorks aims to drive new areas of growth and focus for Fidelity Investments by delivering solutions to help small and mid-market employers improve outcomes for their company and employees.
The Expertise You Have
• 5+ years recent experience in the Payroll, HR and Benefits Administration industry in a B2B capacity
• 5+ years of proven success in sales and relationship management cultivating intermediary channels and ability to build networks of internal and external contacts
• Experience of effective sales management techniques and practices
• Experience with inbound and outbound prospecting through intermediaries
• Experience effectively using CRM systems to enable accuracy and quality of deal tracking
• Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree a plus
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time

The Value You Deliver
• Deliver the highest level of client relationship satisfaction through day-to-day sales, service inquiries and requests, triaging with the appropriate areas of the business to resolve and communicate back to intermediaries
• Ensure intermediary partners are set up for success through education, presentations, literature, collateral needs and other support on FidelityWorks products and procedures
• Proactively outreach to intermediary partners to generate sales opportunities to meet sales targets on Payroll, HR and Benefits Administration
• Monitor intermediary target performance; identify & deliver corrective actions to ensure that profitability and customer targets are achieved
• Build professional and lasting relationships to constantly look for opportunities to maximize and continue to expand on intermediary relationships
• Leverage internal resources to develop solutions that best address channel partner needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal and external stakeholders.
