The Regional Wealth Sales and Service Manager (RWSSM) is responsible for promoting and supporting the delivery of holistic wealth management services within the assigned region for high net worth clients. Provides strategic sales leadership, establishes and maintains exceptional client services and sales management processes. Actively develops strategic relationships in the community for both business development and pipelining of talent. Responsible for the financial and risk management of the assigned region.
Principal Accountabilities:
Sales Leadership: Develops and leads client acquisition and sales plans across the region. Assists in identifying, building, and nurturing networks and opportunities both inside and outside of the Bank. Achieves client acquisition and sales targets through active coaching, sales accountability management, overseeing prospect development plans, and direct calling in partnership with Client Advisors. Partners with the Wealth Regional Managing Director and the Bank's Regional Executive to create market-based plans for internal and external expansion.
Community Involvement: Identifies strategic market opportunities and develops relationships to drive client acquisition and sales. Develops Wealth Management (WM), Bank and personal brand awareness through active community involvement.
Client Experience: Drives the client experience in partnership with other Wealth leaders. Develops and manages partner resource commitments to support successful sales and service delivery. Leads direct and indirect WM workforce to achieve sales and service objectives of the region.
Talent Acquisition, Development and Engagement: Attracts, retains, and engages top talent to drive the high net worth strategies and provide excellent client experience. Maintains active recruiting pipeline. Oversees continual skill development and educational environment of team through leveraging internal and external resources. Fosters and maintains a collaborative and respectful workplace.
Financial Management: Deliver top line revenue and bottom line profitability by ensuring appropriate product mix / focus, client acquisition, and expense management.
Risk Management: Maintains appropriate risk management and operational controls within the team. Ensures compliance with Bank policies / guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Other: Communicates / partners with Wealth Regional Managing Director to keep leadership informed of business strategies, market plans, results, and tactical issues / challenges.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years experience in wealth management, including prior sales leadership experience.
or
High School Diploma with a minimum of 16 years experience in wealth management, including prior sales leadership experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Possess valid Series 7, 63, 9/10 or 24, 65/66, and State specific Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
Self-starter/ drives to succeed.
Relationship-oriented / client focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post graduate degree.
Certified Financial Planner, Certified Trust & Financial Advisor, Certified Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, or other professional designation.
