As a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will have primary accountability for identifying and attracting top talent in support of the company’s business growth strategies. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will play the role of researcher, relationship builder, talent availability expert, and career ambassador. You will also engage with active and passive candidates, learn about their career, aspirations, and interests and connect them with opportunities at AllianceBernstein.
This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding Talent Acquisition team and partner with business leaders to source, recruit, and assess talent for AB’s growth in Nashville. Through collaborative working relationships with the business, the Talent Acquisition team provides a consultative approach to workforce planning by effectively anticipating organizational talent needs/gaps and, subsequently, working to develop a network of passive candidate pools to meet those critical business needs.
Responsibilities
• Develop an effective network of key talent from competitors and industry leaders
• Pre-screen, qualify, and source external candidates
• Manage pro-active lists of qualified candidates for future openings
• Manage and participate in targeted recruiting initiatives
• Interview candidates for core competencies, leadership competencies, cultural fit and future potential
• Demonstrated experience and capability to source professional level roles required.
• Good understanding of sourcing techniques, both traditional and emerging, inclusive of social media technology
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and trust to work effectively at various levels within the company
• Ability to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional business partners in a non-hierarchical environment
• Collaborative partner – with external as well as internal stakeholders
• Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Track, report, and analyze sourcing related activity to help determine ROI
• Experience handling large requisition volumes in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
Qualifications
• Ideally 1-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Capital, Marketing, Sales, Communication, Public Relations, or Advertising
• A strong track record in successfully implementing a wide variety of sourcing methodologies to introduce diverse talent to the firm. Demonstrated creative approach in sourcing for potential and not just for existing skill set.
• Proven experience in working within a team centered environment
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (and iCIMS specifically) is a big plus
• Intellectual curiosity to learn a new business and industry
• Excellent client service focus and a relentless drive to hire the best talent for our roles
• Ability to work successfully as part of a growing team and with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and approach
• Passion for identifying talent from diverse backgrounds, industries and experiences
• Accountable with a high degree of integrity and strong judgment
• Forward-thinking mentality that results in planning ahead, proactive approach to following up on tasks / activities without being reminded.
• Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities, communicate early when deliverables or deadlines may be missed.
