Description
As a Corporate Facilitator with Citizens Bank, you will be responsible for the delivery of training programs for the Home Mortgage Business Line. 70% of your time will be conducting classroom training, while 30% will be occupied with class preparation and special projects. The successful candidate will partner with clients to assess post-training development needs for colleagues.
Responsibilities will include:
• Facilitating training curriculum utilizing Citizens Banks methods and techniques
• Understanding and modifying training styles to fit the needs of participants
• Applying knowledge of adult learning and theory in delivery of courses
• Providing coaching/feedback to colleagues in an effort to solidify classroom learning
• Preparing, organizing, and managing the training environment to foster learning
• Demonstrating an observable enthusiasm for the company, course, material delivery, and learning of the participants
• Demonstrating a knowledge of “best practice“ standards by application in course delivery
• All other related duties as assigned by Training Director, Home Mortgage and /or Curriculum Design Manager
Class Preparation Responsibilities include:
• Tracking and reporting attendance using the automated records management system
• Personally responsible for updating and enhancing professional knowledge and skills through alternative delivery methods
• Providing managers with assessments of participants, as appropriate
• Making regular client visits to identify effectiveness of training in the work environment; make recommendations for additional colleague self-development or training activities to promote skill development
• Participating in Training Staff meetings
• Participating in business related meetings, as requested
• Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
• 3 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry- preferably in training
• End to end knowledge of the mortgage loan process
• Comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage servicing process and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of adult learning theory
• Advanced facilitation skills, presentation skills
• Excellent written skills, strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Computer technical skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc
Education:
• Bachelor degree preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
