Position Overview
As an IT Solution Deployment Project Manager, you will be a part of dynamic team which is part of the IT PMO execution group and that currently carries out the administrative operations of Freddie Mac’s strategic Information Security projects. You will be responsible to adhere to the appropriate corporate project methodologies, processes, and standards while delivering project scope within prescribed schedule and budget guidelines; in addition, you will manage project level issues and risks. Also, you will be accountable for stakeholder and executive level status reporting of those same projects. Development of project business cases will also be a key function of this role.
Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories:
Team Management
• Manage a team of solution implementers.
• Maintain automated schedule.
• Ensure project activities align directly to scope for the initiative.
• Coordinate resource management for the project.
• Forecast project costs and manage actuals.
• Manage issue and risk registers.
• Coordinate and moderate necessary key project meetings.
• Produce weekly status reporting to assigned stakeholders.
• Act as first level of project issue dispute resolution.
Manage Activities for Project Approval
• Lead efforts to obtain necessary inputs for and write project business cases.
• Work with Finance to obtain necessary long-term depreciation and amortization information.
• Drive business cases through governance workflow approvals.
Qualifications
• Experience managing the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to create or drive automated project schedule development, including task definition, duration, and resource estimates, work breakdown schedule, contingency planning.
• Experience building and maintaining a project infrastructure including budget development, project charter, project planning, schedule management, requirements management, test planning and execution, control and assurance practices.
• Experience working with stakeholders to understand vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.
• Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture/engineering, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and conference calls. This shall include scheduling the meetings; developing agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items from the meetings.
• At least 7 years of experience as the lead project manager for IT information security (e.g., IAM, cybersecurity, security assurance), infrastructure (e.g., server, network, database, storage), or business application development related initiatives.

• MBA or Master’s degree in computer science.
• Experienced Planview user.
• CISSP certification
• Experience with automated requirements and testing management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• ITIL Foundation v3 certification.
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFE) experience.
