Job Description:
At Regions, the Project Administrator is typically responsible for independently managing budgets of $499K or less projects and/or providing support for business segment project teams on cross functional projects. Partners with project teams which may include executives and/or managers who are project sponsors in supporting the initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing phases of complex projects to achieve specific business outcomes. Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align solutions with business initiatives. May prepare functional, system and program specifications. May function as a liaison between business segments and Technology.
Primary Responsibilities
•Demonstrates, through application, an understanding of the project management process to assigned roles and tasks
•Works independently to draft project deliverables for review
•Applies the project management process, tools and templates to manage departmental projects
•Serves as a support function/resource ensuring all phases of a project is executed according to project plans
•Proactively solicits feedback from project sponsors prior to finalizing project related deliverables
•Provides project and departmental status reporting
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
•Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree
•Four years successful project management related coursework or experience
Skills and Competencies
•Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), SharePoint Knowledge a plus
•Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
•Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
•Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices a plus (PMBOK, ITIL, SDLC, Agile, etc)

CAPM, PMP
Preferences
•Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
•Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Lead Consumer Collections projects which can range from technology projects, to process improvement initiatives, to operational and compliance projects.
