With the development of this agenda, the challenge exists to provide controls that reassure and protect the customers while helping the Bank deal with the threats we face. The digital product team is at the forefront of this sweeping change and you could be part of that team.
The digital authentication and security product manager is a dual reporting role to both the Director of Online and Mobile Banking Product Management and the Head of Digital Operations; this role is centered on Digital Authentication and Security product management.
The focus is on developing and managing the Authentication and Security Product Strategy for Citizens Bank, including creating short and long term objectives, strategies and roadmaps related to the authentication, security and fraud risk management controls. This results-driven colleague will work across multiple teams including digital operations, risk, fraud, and data security to aid in the execution of the authentication & security products for the Consumer Banking business. They will utilize a user-centric mindset; this individual will be a key contributor in driving the optimal digital banking experience. This role will be responsible for ensuring that Citizens Bank is well positioned to understand the industry trends and landscape; understand and roadmap what peers are doing and Citizens overall authentication and security roadmap to drive areas of focus for the digital channels.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the strategic development on the digital authentication and security roadmap
• Continually drive digital products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility
• Designing effective authentication and fraud risk management controls to protect the customers of the Digital Channels and working closely with risk management partners and owners of related products
• Refine requirements and support the execution of the digital banking projects/programs related to authentication & security
• Facilitate solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, operations, UX and technology teams to prioritize, deliver solutions that align with the corporate strategy
• Provide direction on the development, testing, and refinement of UX prototypes in an agile environment
• Ensure what is delivered meets the original goals and KPIs.
• Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research and VOC analysis needed to obtain market information.
• Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product enhancements by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
• Ability to collaborate and influence across a variety of organizational functions
• Ability to lead without authority and be comfortable managing across channels
• Possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge that includes a big-picture vision of how the user experience could be impacted by these controls and working through a balance of strong protections that don’t hinder the user experience
• Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making and the ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
• 5-7 years of Product Management experience ; 3+ years’ experience in designing & delivering authentication and fraud risk management controls in Digital Channels
• Organized, Understanding the Customer, Requirements Analysis, Competitive Analysis
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Graduate or advanced studies in relevant specialty preferred
• Experience working within a cross-functional teams preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment
Technical Requirements:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Agile tactics and tools
• Experience with Authentication and Fraud software tools like Octa, Transmit Security, Actimize, Fico Falcon
