Job Description
This position is responsible for investigating the facts of low-complexity automobile claims and determining the appropriate payment within defined authority limits. The claims need to be processed in a manner consistent with State and Federal regulation as well as company procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
Investigate all pertinent facts of the claim including verifying coverages, sending correspondence, assigning appraisers or reviewers, contacting all parties involved in the claim and following up on the claim files to ensure receipt of documentation. Within defined authority limits, settle low-complexity claims and process for payment. Conduct claim handling in compliance with appropriate State and Federal regulations.
Ensure satisfactory client experience by addressing client’s questions and inquiries in a timely and thorough manner. Document all relevant facts and information in tracking systems in a timely manner to reflect appropriate claim status information.
Required Qualifications
High school or equivalent
0-1 years relevant experience
Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work having a high degree of accuracy; strong attention to detail.
Must possess the ability to process information and react quickly and appropriately.
Must possess exceptional organizational skills.
