VP, Product Marketing, Bank Solutions
What does a great Vice President, Product Marketing do?
As VP, Product Marketing you are responsible for forming and delivering the Bank Solutions product marketing strategy and its execution in support of the Division’s business strategy, go-to-market and performance objectives. Your ability to understand and communicate the voice of the market to the organization and conversely, position its unusual value to the markets it serves is essential. You will use your validated senior-level business and marketing experience and play a key role in how the business extends its market share, deepens its existing client relationships and positions itself as a leading provider of technology and services solutions for the future.
You will report to the Bank Solutions SVP of Marketing & Strategy and will work closely with Bank Solutions General Managers as well as the Bank Solutions Product Management, global sales, and global brand organizations. You're fully accountable for delivering mutually agreed upon annual marketing results for Bank Solutions. You will have had responsibility for leading and running a product marketing organization with a global scope in a similar or greater size enterprise software maker.

US – ideally based in Brookfield, Alpharetta or Chicago
Reporting to: SVP of Marketing & Strategy
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive the strategic Product Marketing plan and budget to optimize the acquisition, expansion and retention of customers
• Build, lead, develop and motivate a high-performance team of results-focused Product Marketers
• Support the documentation of product positioning and develop messaging and offers that differentiate Bank Solutions products in the market
• Understand and document user personas and the buyer journey; create and map high value content accordingly
• Plan and execute targeted demand generation programs and events demonstrating modern marketing techniques to:1) build a robust and high-quality pipeline that converts to sales, and 2) to nurture suspects
• You will partner closely with Product Management to maximize launch potential, optimize market opportunity and bolster Fiserv thought leadership through presentations, white papers, blog posts, speaking engagements, industry analyst relationships, etc.
• Tightly align with sales (SEs, sales enablement, inside sales) to provide quality launch kits, collateral and presentations, and campaign collaboration, communication and reporting
• You will collaborate with Global Brand to represent Fiserv across all product marketing efforts in accordance with Fiserv brand standards
• Partner with Fiserv enterprise channel managers to utilize marketing channels according to enterprise standards and get results according to standard methodologies (i.e. master inbound marketing and ensure Fiserv is “found first” when a prospect has a need for Bank Solutions product and services via web, SEO, SEM, social & traditional media, etc.)
• Monitor and communicate customer and competitive market insights and trends
• Partner with Account Management to ensure sufficient referrals, references and case studies to strengthen market credibility
• Contribute innovative ideas and support channel marketing efforts
• Utilize and contribute to the build-out of enterprise standards and tools, partnering with other Fiserv businesses to automate the tracking and measurement of program effectiveness for continuous enterprise improvement
• In partnership with BU president, establish a vibrant and consistent internal communications program to inform, educate and motivate Bank Solutions associates and strengthen engagement
• As VP, Product Marketing you're responsible for: Bank Solutions Product Marketing; inbound/outbound demand generation; content development – for all marketing channels, referencing use case development and product/solution positioning; industry analyst relationships; Product Marketing – with headcount dedicated to product groups; market research in coordination with Global Brand Market Research team; competitive analysis - including win/loss program mgt.; field marketing – dotted line sharing with geo ROW managers
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• 15+ years of Product Marketing leadership experience
• 10+ years of experience in content, digital and Product Marketing and demand/pipeline generation
• 10 or more years of B2B software Product Marketing expertise
• Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing
• Polished written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25%; greater, if not based in Alpharetta, Brookfield or the Chicago area
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with associates, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
• Knowledge of the Pragmatic Marketing framework required
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Master’s degree a plus
• Pragmatic Marketing certification preferred
