What you’ll do:
You’ll work with a strong team and draw upon your experience in international taxation and accounting to provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients and internal team members on international operations tax implications. You’ll identify basic to very complex tax issues and provide tax analysis, answers to questions and recommendations for these entities and their affiliates. You’ll serve as an international tax accountant to clients in a range of industries on international tax services and offerings. Your focus would strictly be international tax including but not limited to transfer pricing, earnings and profit studies, foreign tax credits, and federal tax returns such as Form 1118, Form 1116, and Form 5471.
Additional responsibilities would include:
• Preparing and reviewing work papers, allocations, and tax returns such as Form 1118, Foreign Tax Credit, Form 1116 For US Expats, and Form 5471.
• Preparation of separate company year-end tax accrual computations, including year-end true-up entries and tax accounts roll forward and rate reconciliations;
• Preparation of US federal, state, and city quarterly and year-end tax estimates, including preparation of tax extensions and payment vouchers;
• Assistance with consolidated group’s tax settlement processes;
• Assistance with federal and state audits, including managing and resolving tax notices from federal, state, and city agencies;
• Support federal, state, city, international and other specific special tax planning and non-recurring projects as needed, including carrying out tax research projects;

Our team members are highly-knowledgeable and have diverse backgrounds in transactional analysis and support, compliance and planning for inbound and outbound businesses, supply chain and intellectual property advising, transfer pricing, transformative business modeling, and more.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years providing tax planning services or preparing client work with a focus on international taxation
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and CPA
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
