The Wealth Client Specialist - Institutional Trust will assist Institutional Advisors in effectively implementing their client service delivery and retention plans. Proactively providing professional and responsive service to institutional clients serviced by the Institutional Trust Department. Requires daily support of Advisors including but not limited to responding to client requests, contact management tracking, account maintenance, cash transactions, portfolio monitoring, gathering/tracking of client documentation, and timely follow up on internal/external client requests. Working as a critical partner with the Advisor and responsible for quality assurance and quality control functions consistent with first line of defense established policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Principal Accountabilities:
Account Administration & Monitoring - Provide timely responses to client information requests, same day unless otherwise communicated to client. Act independently, and with exceptional judgement to address client needs and concerns, while keeping wealth team member informed of client activity. Serve as first line of defense while servicing client needs to ensure mitigation of financial risk to the bank.
Monitors all activities of assigned accounts; ensures all accounts are in compliance.
Processes transactions and ensures accuracy of all required account documentation. Including but not limited to trading, cash movement, client communication, and compliance requirements.
Client Servicing and Retention - Actively participate in meetings with supported Advisors providing updates on recent client serving requests, resolution of documentation exceptions, breaks in service causing client impact, tracking of upcoming tasks/relationship reviews/information requests for ongoing servicing. Runs advisor specific reports to assist with ongoing services of portfolio which may include overdrafts, portfolio management & exception resolution, system alerts requiring action, etc.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 6 months related banking or financial services experience.
OR
High school diploma or GED with minimum of 4 years of trust or financial services experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven track record working in high paced environment
Advanced computer skills: excel, ppt, word, outlook
Ability to proactively solve problems, while exercising exceptional judgment
Ability to work well in a team environment as well working independently
Customer service experience skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in wealth mgmt./trust or financial services
Highly organized and efficient at task completion
Experience in one or more of the following: Institutional Trust fields Retirement Plans, Philanthropic, Custody, and Escrow.
