IT Director – Information Security Strategic Programs

Develop and manage AXA’s Information Security strategic initiatives in alignment with AXA’s business and information security objectives and requirements.
Structure and solve security related business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of issues across multiple security domains.
Develop strategy and build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across AXA’s many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development
Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative or qualitative analysis to support recommendations and ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations, managing finance and planning management
Oversight of the AXA’s information security portfolio, prioritization of projects, allocation of resources, monitoring of budgets and progress and securing funding
Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or management in a clear, concise and impactful way
Provide continuous coaching and training to the Program Management team
Manage a Program Management Office within AXA Financial’s information security group
Manages individuals and contributes to other risk, security, compliance initiatives and services as appropriate.
Develops metrics and reporting related to project status, budget spends, project risks
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to meet overall business objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years information security experience in multiple leadership roles
Demonstrated experience with managing teams with multiple domain responsibility
Demonstrated track record of being proactive, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, and focusing on critical priorities with little or no supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to digest information from multiple sources, interpret results and derive consultations and recommendations in a concise, organized manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to drive strategic conversations with a range of stakeholders
Comfortable managing multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders with competing agendas
Capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, internally and externally, with all levels across the company
Experience with developing strategic approach and implementation of various information security programs, such as insider threat, mobile, and cloud computing
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to execute and think with a strong control and process mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Visio
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering
ISACA, SANS or CISSP certification a plus
