Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive the business by increasing new business sales from non-producing Wholesale appointed brokers, supporting the Regional Managing Director(RMD) with broker training, attending on site partner broker events and represent Ameritas at industry events as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
• The emphasis of this position is to increase new business sales from non-producing appointed wholesale brokers and support the RMD(s).
• Proactive outbound sales calls to a defined list non-producing appointed brokers and document the outcomes of broker interactions in Salesforce.
• Coordinate and execute on site and virtual broker training sessions as requested by the RMD(s) and work closely with the Marketing team to track the results of each training sessions.
• Support the RMD(s) with onboarding new partners and ongoing maintenance of existing partners including acting as a key home office contact for essential sales related items and attending partner sponsored broker events during peak travel season (Aug -- Oct).
• Lastly, the Account Executive will be responsible for attending specific industry events as needed.
• This position requires 25% travel.
Required Knowledge:
• The incumbent should have a bachelor's degree or similar industry experience.
• A background in group dental and eye care insurance is preferred, but not required.
• The incumbent must possess superior interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and phone and written communication skills.
• This position is more sales in nature than technical assisting in the overall trilogy of training/support and ongoing maintenance of the partner relationships.
• The greatest challenge for this position is to achieve production expectations from current appointed non-producing brokers.
• In addition, acting as a key contact for key partner staff for sales related items.
• Lastly, prioritizing the internal sales responsibilities with travels demands created by partner and industries events during the peak selling season.
