Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the facility/property management service delivery system on the client project; primarily Asset Management and Operations for a national retail portfolio
• Accountable for the achievement of the Management Plan and all key performance indicators
• Oversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the Property Management Service delivery staff
• Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity
• Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client
• Coordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, career development planning and incentive/salary administration
• Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and the level of spending with Minority/Women owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE)
• Insure compliance with the company’s minimum audit standards
• Share best practices with the assigned owner of best practices for Facilities Management
• Self performing light maintenance work and conference rooms set ups
• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.
• Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
• Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical expertise
• Minimum of 8 years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and presentation skills
• Experience in matrix management organization desirable
• Ability to remotely manage and coordinate facilities and property management operations
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful
• Some Travel may be required
