You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the broader CohnReznick team in delivering the highest quality service to our clients; interact directly with our clients, and team on a regular basis to better understand the needs of the firm; and grow and develop your career. This individual would be overseeing and assisting the financial accounting, reporting functions and aiding with tax returns of various clients.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year
• Must have experience in financial statement preparation of compilations/reviews, preparing the following types of tax returns: business tax returns including 1120, 1120-S; experience with tax provision preferred
• Assist with the process and review of tax returns
• Various financial analysis including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements
• Proficient in using various department software platforms
• Ad hoc projects
Required Skills:
• Undergraduate degree in accounting
• MST and CPA preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong tax research and writing skills
• Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA
• Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
