POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and hiring. This role will work alongside other team members in a fast paced, energetic, goal-oriented environment using effective recruiting strategies and best practices to seek top talent.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with manager to discuss needs.
• Effectively evaluate applicants and sourced candidates’ requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing information about the company and position, business strategy, performance objectives and expectations.
• Pre-screen and present detailed profile summaries of candidates for appropriateness of skills, strengths, experience, knowledge and compensation.
• Prepare candidate for each step-in hiring process.
• Use multiple search engines to find qualified candidates.
• Manage an ongoing pipeline of candidates.
• Utilize, update and maintain the applicant tracking system as well as job postings.
• Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite.
• Perform other special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
• 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
• Professional demeanor and articulate communicator.
• High energy and driven individual with proven track record of results.
• Word, Excel, Outlook and applicant tracking software experience.
• Ability to work in our San Diego corporate office on a daily basis
• High school diploma
