Job Description Summary
PLEASE NOTE: this position can be located in So. CA, No. CA, Seattle WA, or Denver CO
Assist Financial Advisers in selling Investment Advisory Solutions (IAS) by identifying sales opportunities and providing investment product subject matter expertise during sales/service client interactions. Lead ongoing Financial Adviser training for sales skills and product knowledge. Operate in partnership with Financial Advisers across all BancWest Investment Services territories.
Essential Job Functions
• Serves as subject matter expert for IAS products/services and maintains a strong understanding of securities markets.
• Provides Financial Advisers with ongoing product training and technical assistance.
• Drives financial adviser sales by co-leading seminars, attending client meetings, generating sales ideas for suitable IAS products/services, identifying opportunities and planning client calling initiatives.
• Uses advanced knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio construction process to develop and communicate ideas for client portfolio positioning.
• Represent IAS at regional and branch meetings.
• Work closely with Regional Managers, Branch Managers and Financial Advisors regarding sales strategy planning and execution.
• Manage sales activities within the Bank's customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Salesforce.com.
• Identify and support implementation of process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
Required Experience
• Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• May have practical knowledge of project management.
• Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance or Economics
Licenses & Certifications
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66)
Skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead consultative sales utilizing in-person, telephonic and Internet channels.
• Expert level user of Salesforce.com.
• Effective time management, prioritization and project management skills.
• Strong business acumen with proficiency using related software applications.
• Ability to synthesize and present complex information in a way that facilitates understanding.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory rules (e.g.
• FINRA, SEC, etc.).
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems/resolve conflicts with limited support or resources.
• Maintain high standards for work accuracy and quality.
