The Senior Channel Producer - SEM is a key member of the Marketing - Digital Channels team and will work directly with the Paid Media Manager, Marketing and other internal and agency teams to create and manage SEM and other Paid Media programs for Capital Group. The Senior Channel Producer will play a significant role in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Media program management, measurement, analysis and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple brands across Google and Yahoo/Bing platforms and the entire Paid Media plan. Experience using a third party bid/campaign management tool like Adobe Media Optimizer or Kenshoo is required.
Responsibilities:
• Leads strategy development and works closely with Paid Media Manager, Marketing, internal and agency teams to manage and optimize all paid Display and SEM programs
• Serves as the SEM and other digital paid media subject matter expert and will work closely with internal teams to build internal knowledge and best practices of the channel
• Partners with the agency and analytics team to track and analyze performance metrics to make data-driven recommendations per campaign and deliver timely reporting, analysis and optimization recommendations
• Initiates new SEM campaigns internally, trains copywriters to develop new SEM copy, reporting and analyzing our SEM programs
• Stays abreast of the latest tools, capabilities and best practices to maximize the performance of our SEM and digital paid media plans
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
• Experience in digital media planning and SEO
• Critical thinker who can identify issues, demonstrates sound judgment when resolving matters of moderate complexity; demonstrates strong analytical, curiosity, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively work in a team environment and across broad, diverse groups
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; strong inter-personal skills; strong presentation skills
• Certified in Google Adwords, Kenshoo or similar analytics tools, deep experience with Adobe Analytics Suite: Site Catalyst, Audience Manager and Media Optimizer, and a working knowledge of ad serving platforms such as DART
• BA or BS degree required
