As the Strategic Program Management and Solutions Consultant, s/he will focus on delivery of initiatives through execution of consulting services, which includes but is not limited to accountability for implementation of project deliverables with a focus on business planning, communications and change management within Corporate Finance. This role will largely collaborate with the business to drive out requirements and testing support, ensuring the business needs are met, while balancing risk, scope, time, cost and quality for both Corporate Accounting and Enterprise projects. Experience is needed of executing on Accounting principles related to General Ledger, Financial Reconciliation and Financial Planning and Analysis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
• Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Analyzes more complex project plans and validates if project outcomes will meet the business needs, supports operational objectives and recommends mitigation plan.
• Develops & executes more complex effective project management throughout the project development lifecycle, including but not limited to: project planning, resource planning change management and communications planning, & managing changes to scope.
• Manages and delivers more complex projects conforming to project management standards and processes as designated by his/her assigned area of responsibility, including applicable change control and project management methodology.
• Leverages knowledge of the project plan to ensure that it is accurate, updated and reflective of authorized changes
• Provides consultation with project owners and appropriate stakeholders to manage project quality.
• Collaborates effectively with management & appropriate project stakeholders on more complex issues & conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality & risk of assigned projects.
• Identifies more complex project resourcing needs & facilitates the procurement of needed hardware, software & human resources for the project.
• Consults with project owners and appropriate stakeholders to manage project quality and cost.
• Monitors & evaluates more complex project’s progress & performance against the project plan & develops more complex mitigation plans
• Using structured requirements process, clearly articulates, documents and validates more complex business requirements.
• Consults and collaborates with key internal and/or external stakeholders to elicit more complex business issues, determine root cause(s), and capture business needs.
• Consults and acts as a resource to appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Collaborates with internal and/or external stakeholders to assess, select and recommend more complex solutions and/or alternative approaches that will achieve business goals.
• Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit.
• Champions and enhances the direction of emerging solutions to meet the needs of complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives.
• Manages and delivers on emerging solutions utilizing established delivery methodologies, tools and artifacts that align to this area of responsibility.
• Serves as a mentor and shares expertise with consultants and project team members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 4 Year/Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 3 - 5+ Years’ experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
• Experience in defining requirements based on an understanding of technical system functionality. An understanding of Accounting applications, Finance and systems, desired.
• Knowledge and experience in executing on Accounting principles around Financial Reporting, Financial planning and analysis and reconciliation is required. Up to 25% travel.

• Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
• Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
• Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
• Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
