The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for both directly executing and leading a team who executes efforts across the Organization in the areas of providing effective and efficient business support, driving productivity improvements and automation of operations, simplifying and strengthening process and controls, and optimizing risk management. This role will be a thought, process, and implementation leader who solves organizational process challenges. This role is responsible for the development of project tracking metrics; and putting a team and structure in place to identify opportunity pipeline and lead high impact, cross functional projects.
Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in process improvement methodologies, and have successfully completed high-impact, cross-functional projects with demonstrated business results. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and will have the ability to interact with all levels of associates.
The primary duties of the Process Improvement Manager are:
• Strategic Partnership and Planning
◦ Creates vision for Process Improvement approach at ACA
◦ Creates partnerships across the enterprise, aligns with organizational goals and objectives
◦ Influences the strategy for planning and implementing process improvement, operating model optimization, and organizational design/integration initiatives
• Resource Management – leads a process improvement team
• Change Management and education
◦ Ensures change management protocols are used to support process improvement efforts and subsequent deployment
◦ Provides timely communication and reporting at all levels, to ensure clear understanding of objectives and accomplishments
◦ Provides mentorship for team members working on process initiatives and/or pursuing process certification and actively champions business process improvement throughout the organization
• Results and Accountability
◦ Accountable to deliver tangible and quantifiable process and operational improvements that impact financial results, Member interactions, and/or Associate engagement
◦ Provides leadership and education to the Organization in the area of process improvement
◦ Quantitatively determines and tracks expected productivity improvement and savings from process improvement efforts tying savings to P&L
◦ Identifies metrics and performance indicators and collects relevant data; including but not limited to project ROI, Member and associate satisfaction, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, Master’s degree desirable
• 8+ years applicable experience leading Process Improvement initiatives
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives in a high volume, transactional environment (retail or automotive background helpful but not required).
• In-depth experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and finance
• Six Sigma Black Belt or other formal certification highly desirable.
