We are looking for a programmer with financial services industry and campaign management experience to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to flex their coding muscles by executing targeted direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns. You will also be reporting and analyzing those campaigns.
The right candidate for this position will have experience building marketing campaigns in SAS/SQL/Python/PHP/.NET or similar languages.You will be responsible for creating the files needed to execute and track our direct marketing campaigns and for automating and continuously improving our database marketing process.
Primary Responsibilities
• Execute recurring and ad-hoc direct marketing list pulls by teaming up with Marketing to develop criteria for list pulls, exclusion lists, and campaign tracking programs.
• Build reports to track the performance of each campaign.
• Analyze each campaign with an eye towards improving list segmentation and customer contact strategies.
• Manage tracking of solicitation history and marketing preferences to ensure campaign effectiveness and marketing compliance.
• Lead the development and efficient growth of our customer and prospect database.
• Document the processes necessary to execute each campaign.
Required Qualifications
• Certification/Expert level capabilities with SAS/SQL/R/Python or similar language.
• Excellent data organization skills. Campaigns need to be clean, tracked relentlessly, and analyzed continuously.
• 5+ years’ experience leveraging financial services industry data and other external data to enhance success of marketing programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field like computer science, analytics, statistics, data base marketing, or similar field.
